The SAB Welcomes a New Team Member

The Science Advisory Board is pleased to welcome new staff member Alexander Taft, a Washington, DC resident, to the team. Bringing his unique healthcare nonprofit management and small business start-up experience, Alex will join our team committed to expanding The Science Advisory Board’s name recognition throughout the life-science industries.  His responsibilities include continuing to grow the Scientific Advisory Board roster, developing new & building existing client partnerships, and to ensure continued excellent customer service and member satisfaction.


Alex previously served 3 years as co-founder and administrator of a 501(c)3 Foundation dedicated to creating and implementing solutions for the ongoing challenges of providing care for cardiothoracic patients.  Mr. Taft contributed to by-laws development, fundraising & educational programs, website, and board recruitment. Alex also served as Projects Coordinator for a local academic and surgical services institute, where he oversaw book publications, website development, referral programs and publicity campaigns. Alex is a graduate of Georgetown University, and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.
