SAB NewsSAB Members in the News!Posted 10/13/2008 Madhugiri Negeswara-Rao, Ph.D., & Jaya R. Suneji, Ph.D., were highlighted in an SAB Member Spotlight last year & have contributed Perspectives on the topic of plant genetics. Their research at University of Florida’s Citrus Research & Education Center has been highlighted in a variety of media including television, print & online publications. Recent recognitions: -- They were in a featured article, the “Membership Corner”, of the American Society of Plant Biologists News (ASPB News), May/June 2008. The ASPB, a professional society foused on the development of plant sciences, dedicates the Membership Corner to committed and pioneering members of their organization. -- They also received recognition in the article “GII couple Recognized for Excellence”, Genome India International, May 2008. Genome India International is a non-profit organization that highlights innovative research in genetics and also provides international networking opportunities for researchers in the field. -- A few of their accomplishments was presented in the article “Scientific Spirit”, in the Science and Technology section of the Deccan Herald, September 2008. The Science Advisory Board was mentioned in this article for the 2007 Member Spotlight interview with Negeswara-Rao and Suneji, and the full article can be read here.
